Associated Press According to a report from WEEI’s Alex Speier, the Boston Red Sox have called up pitcher Rubby De La Rosa from Triple-A Pawtucket. He has served the role of starting pitcher for the Pawsox all year, but will be coming out of the bullpen for the Local Nine. For Pawtucket this season, he has compiled a 0-1 record with a 3.29 ERA in 11 starts that span 38 1/3 innings. To make room for De La Rosa right-hander Alex Wilson was optioned to Pawtucket following Thursday’s game, a 5-4 loss to the Baltimore Orioles. He performed admirably in Thursday’s game, allowing one run in 2 2/3 innings of work. De La Rosa has had an impressive stretch as of late. Beginning on April 23, he has notched a 1.14 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 14 walks in 31 2/3 innings. In terms of big league experience, he is 4-5 with a 3.91 ERA tallying 60 strikeouts and 33 walks in 61 2/3 innings split between 2010 and 2011. He was part of the blockbuster trade last August that sent Josh Beckett and Adrian Gonzalez
