Braves 2026 arbitration eligible players and estimates

Every year, the folks over at MLB Trade Rumors do a fantastic job at coming up with the estimates for each arbitration eligible candidate. The Atlanta Braves have nine of them going into 2026, most of which could be considered non-tender candidates.

Braves 2026 Arbitration Estimates

About the only player on this list that will surely be tendered a contract is Dylan Lee. The southpaw has been a steady presence at the back end of Atlanta’s bullpen for several years, and given his projected salary of under $2 million, there’s no reason to create another hole in a pitching staff that already has plenty of needs.

Nick Allen’s status will be one to watch. The Braves currently have no guaranteed option at shortstop heading into 2026. If Ha-Seong Kim opts into his deal or Atlanta finds another solution via trade or free agency, Allen’s role becomes less critical. Still, at roughly $1.5 million, his elite glove and versatility make him a valuable late-inning defensive replacement that can start in a pinch if needed.

Alek Manoah is the most recognizable name on the list. The former Cy Young finalist has fallen hard since his stellar 2022 season, and the Blue Jays’ decision to designate him for assignment says plenty about his recent struggles. However, at a low projected cost, the Braves could see him as a worthwhile reclamation project, something Alex Anthopoulos has never been afraid to pursue.

Eli White also made a strong case to stick around after a productive season, though his future could depend on how aggressively the Braves add to their outfield depth this winter. Jake Fraley’s .735 career OPS makes him another serviceable option, but $3.6 million is a tad pricey for a bench piece.

Joey Wentz also made a strong case to be retained. He had some bright moments after the Braves claimed him off waivers, and at $1.1 million, it might be worth keeping him around given his experience as both a starter and reliever.
