Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies is having a resurgent season. Now in his 10th year in MLB, all spent in Atlanta, he entered 2026 with real questions surrounding his future after a down 2025 campaign.
The organization picked up his $7 million club option this past offseason, and he has another option next winter. If Albies repeated his 2025 performance this year, there was a real chance the Braves would have moved on.
Fortunately for Atlanta, the 29-year-old has responded in a big way. Through 54 games, Albies is hitting .274 with a .332 on-base percentage, .760 OPS, eight home runs and 27 RBIs.
He has appeared in every game so far, and his production has helped Atlanta jump out to a 36-18 start, the best record in the National League.
As Albies works to continue turning his career around, he has also remained one of the most outspoken and active personalities off the field.
He pursues multiple ventures away from baseball, whether it is his passion for fish, his nonprofit animal rescue foundation, his growing clothing brand or the personal videos he shares on his YouTube channel.
To support those creative projects, Albies announced a new partnership with Adobe, the software company known for graphic design and multimedia tools. Albies and Adobe revealed the partnership in a collaboration post on Instagram. “Welcome to the roster, @ozzie ⚾,” the caption read.
The post also included a video of Albies discussing why he chose to partner with the company and how it will help him expand his off-field work. As Albies continues to build his brand away from the game, his on-field role remains just as important.
Atlanta missed the postseason in 2025, and Albies, a three-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger, is doing everything he can to make sure that does not happen again. His bounce-back season has been a major part of the Braves early success.
