With a record of 89-55 through Sunday's games, the Milwaukee Brewers sport MLB's best record, the only team with a winning percentage above .600. They also happen to have one of the top prospects in baseball in their farm system.
Since signing with the Brewers in January 2024, 18-year-old phenom Jesús Made has made a rapid rise in the Brewers farm system.

Sunday, after spending just over a month with the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Made - MLB Pipeline's No. 5 overall prospect - confirmed his promotion to Double-A Biloxi via Instagram.
Made, a switch-hitting shortstop, is one of the most electrifying prospects in baseball.
Last season, he spent his time playing in the Dominican Summer League, slashing .331/458/.554 with six home runs, 28 RBIs, and 28 stolen bases in 51 games. He also showed patience at the plate, adding 39 walks compared to 28 strikeouts.
Made began his 2025 campaign with the Carolina Mudcats, the Brewers Single-A affiliate. In 83 games with Carolina, Made hit .267 with 28 extra-base hits, 46 RBIs, and 40 stolen bases. He was promoted to High-A Wisconsin on August 5.
In 27 games with the Timber Rattlers, Made slashed .343/.415/.500 with two home runs and 12 RBIs before his call-up. According to the Shuckers website, Made is expected to make his Double-A debut on Tuesday, September 9, against the Birmingham Barons. Biloxi has six regular-season games scheduled before beginning a best-of-three series on September 16 against the Montgomery Biscuits (Tampa Bay Rays affiliate) to begin the 2025 playoffs.
Milwaukee's current shortstops are Joey Ortiz and Andruw Monasterio, who have combined for 11 home runs and 59 RBIs this season. MLB Pipeline projects Made to be promoted to the big leagues sometime in 2028, the year he turns 21. But don't be surprised if Milwaukee promotes its young phenom before then. Brewers centerfielder Jackson Chourio was 20 years and 18 days old when he made his MLB debut to begin the 2024 season.
