Brewers' Championship Caps Unique 2026 MLB Postseason

The 2026 MLB playoffs are officially over, and for the first time ever, the Milwaukee Brewers are World Series champions.

That isn't too surprising, however, as the Brewers had the best record in baseball this year and ended the season on fire.

The World Series also capped a relatively drama-free playoffs where the team with the better regular-season record won every series -- the first time that's happened since MLB adopted its current playoff format in 2022.

In fact, that's the first time it's happened in any of the current playoff formats for the four major North American professional sports.

This year's playoffs may have been a bit boring, but at least the best team won.
