The Los Angeles Dodgers have one of the best pitchers in baseball history still performing well on the mound. Clayton Kershaw has been around the league for nearly two decades, and he's seen a lot of players in his time.

Ahead of his matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers, Kershaw was set to face Brewers phenom and ascending rookie Jacob Misiorowski. In a post from Dodgers reporter for Orange County Register, Bill Plunkett, Kershaw shared his thoughts on pitching against the Brewers' rookie.

"I don't even know how I'm pitching against," Kershaw said. "Is that the guy who twisted his ankle on the mound? The 'Twisted-His-Ankle' guy? I know he throws hard. I saw a couple of highlights. He throws hard. But so does everybody. Except me."

Misiorowski made sure Kershaw wouldn't forget him, as he went six innings, allowing one run and striking out 12 in his matchup against the Dodgers.

After his dominant performance, and in an article from Adam Wells on Bleacher Report, Misiorowski joked around with Kershaw about his pregame comments on the Brewers' rookie.

Kershaw, after the game, certainly did know about Misiorowski. Adam McCalvy, Brewers reporter for MLB.com, shared the reaction from Kershaw after Misiorowski's dominant performance.

"I know him now, huh?" Kershaw said postgame. "That was super impressive. That was unbelievable. It was really special. I mean, everything. Obviously the velo, but he's got four pitches, commands the ball, and made it - I mean, I don't know how you hit that, honestly."

Coming from one of the game's best pitchers, it's very high praise for the Brewers' rookie. Kershaw didn't mince words, praising the righty starter for his incredible performance.

The Brewers' rookie has gotten off to an incredible start to his MLB career, and the Dodgers' struggles against him on Tuesday weren't a surprise. Kershaw's praise is well deserved.
