Milwaukee Brewers top prospect Jesús Made is on the move again, this time to Double-A, after playing just 27 games at High-A Wisconsin, following 83 games in Low-A Carolina to start the season. His rapid rise mirrors the path of Jackson Chourio, who reached the majors shortly after his 20th birthday and is now in his second MLB season at just 21. Made, notably, is only 18.
On Instagram, Made made the Brewers decision to promote him by making the announcement himself on social media. He was assigned to the Timber Rattlers just one month ago, on August 5, and now will be available to help the Mudcats finish out their season and participate in the Double-A playoffs.

The Shuckers have six games remaining in their regular season schedule. From September 9-14 they will play in Birmingham Barons. On Tuesday, September 16, the playoffs will begin. Biloxi is eligible for the post season as they were the division winners in the first half of the season.
While Made won’t have much time to settle in at Double-A this season, the late-year promotion sends a clear message: the Brewers view him as a candidate to open 2026 at that level. His rapid climb through the system at just 18 years old reflects both his advanced skill set and the organization’s confidence in his development. Even a short stint in Biloxi provides valuable experience and lays the groundwork for a pivotal 2026 season, as he continues his accelerated climb toward the Major Leagues.
