Cincinnati Reds Minor League Recap: Top Performances from June 18, 2025

Just two Cincinnati Reds minor league affiliates were in action on Wednesday. Here is how their top prospects performed:

Louisville Bats (30-41) Won 8-1

  • Blake Dunn went 0-3 with a walk.
  • Jeimer Candelario went 2-4 with a double and a home run.
  • Rece Hinds went 1-4 with his 10th home run of the season.
  • Ryan Vilade went 1-3 with a walk.
  • Chase Burns gave up one run on three hits over seven innings. He didn't walk a batter and struck out seven.

Chattanooga Lookouts (Rained Out)

Dayton Dragons (Rained Out)

Daytona Tortugas (28-37) Won 3-0

  • Kyle Henley went 0-5.
  • Sammy Stafura went 1-4 with a double.
  • Alfredo Duno went 1-4 with a walk and a double.
  • Carlos Sanchez went 1-4 with a walk and a stolen base.
  • Ovis Portes did not give up a run or a hit over three innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out five.
  • Cole Schoenwetter did not give up a run on two hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out six over five innings.
