The Reds scored seven runs in the 10th inning to beat the Marlins 10-4 on Thursday night. They improve to 56-59 on the season.

Cincinnati took three of four games in Miami. They've won four of their last six contests.

The Reds took advantage of a few Marlins' mistakes to blow the game wide open in the 10th inning.

Elly De La Cruz led the way with three hits, one walk and two runs scored. TJ Friedl finished 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Cincinnati went 5-2 against Miami this season. They scored seven runs in the 10th inning, which is the first time they've accomplished that feat since 1985.
