Cleveland Guardians Third Baseman Jose Ramirez has gotten off to a strong start this regular season. He is leading the team in hits, doubles, home runs, runs scored, RBI, and stolen bases this year. It is the third time in his career he has led the team in all these categories through 65 games of a season. No other player has accomplished this feat more than once since 1920. He is fourth in the league in batting average and sixth in OPS. Will the perennial all-star be able to keep it going?

Ramirez has been one of the league’s best players since debuting with the Cleveland Guardians in 2013. He is a six-time MLB All-Star and the winner of five Silver Slugger Awards. He also has seven top-10 finishes in AL MVP voting.
Ramirez will look to keep up his high level of play in the middle game of Cleveland’s three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds. Cleveland has played below expectations in 2025, but the star third baseman has held up his end of the bargain thus far.
