The Detroit Tigers wrap up their series with the Baltimore Orioles tonight. The Tigers took the first game of the series before dropping the middle game last night. Detroit has reigning Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal on the mound. He is facing off against Keegan Akin. Keegan Akin will serve as an opener for Baltimore. The Tigers today optioned reliever Beau Breiske to Triple-A Toledo and recalled lefty reliever Matt Gage. Brieske has struggled this season, going 1-3 with a 6.55 ERA, a 1.64 WHIP, and 16 strikeouts in 22 innings. Gage this season in 23 games at Toledo is 1-1 with a 1.67 ERA, a 0.96 WHIP, and 28 strikeouts in 32.1 innings.

Beau Brieske
