Detroit Tigers Starting Pitcher Tarik Skubal has been tremendous over his last 11 starts. He has a whopping 95 strikeouts and 3 walks over that span. He is the first pitcher since 1901 to post a 30 K-BB ratio or higher in an 11-start span with no relief appearances.
He has been great overall this season. He is 6-2 with a 2.16 ERA. He is eighth in the league in ERA, fourth in strikeouts, and second in WHIP. Will the star pitcher continue pitching this well as the regular season continues?

Skubal has not missed a beat this season after putting together a 2024 campaign for the ages. He ran away with the AL Cy Young, made his first All-Star team, and finished seventh in AL MVP voting. He also led the league in wins, ERA, and strikeouts last season.
Skubal will return to the mound tonight on the road against the Baltimore Orioles. He faced the Orioles earlier this season and was masterful. He fanned 11 over 6 shutout innings on April 27. The lefty will look to shut down the Orioles again tonight and keep his historic season going.
