Chambers was the Brewers' 20th-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.
Hudson was designated for assignment last week with the team welcoming in new starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. He spent six games with the Dodgers last season, posting an ERA of 7.27 in 8.2 innings of work.
He is listed at 6-foot-8 and can be intimidating to opponents. Hudson was productive while with Triple-A Oklahoma City for the Dodgers, putting up an ERA of 2.43 over 46 games.
L.A. was proactive and made sure to get something in return for Hudson. Chambers was the Brewers 20th-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.

Milwaukee reportedly gave him a $547,500 signing bonus, making this an intriguing trade for the Dodgers.
He now adds to the impressive Dodgers prospect pool and is just 18 years of age. Chambers has yet to make his professional debut, as he has been recovering from Tommy John surgery.
This is the type of trade that the Dodgers make to have pan out a few years later. If Chambers can come back from his surgery well, L.A. could have a solid left-handed pitcher on their hands.
