He is coming off yet another fantastic season in 2025, helping the Dodgers win their second straight Fall Classic.
Ohtani won his third consecutive MVP award after slashing .282/.392/.622 with an OPS of 1.014, 55 long balls, 102 RBIs and 20 stolen bases. He also made 14 starts on the mound, totaling 47 innings with an ERA of 2.87, as he struck out 62 batters with just nine walks.
In 2026, the 31-year-old will be entering the third season of the massive 10-year, $700 million contract he signed with Los Angeles before the 2024 season.
On Monday, the Dodgers announced their promotional schedule for the 2026 season, which included two bobbleheads of Ohtani commemorating his phenomenal performance in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series.

In that game, a 5-1 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2025 NLCS, Ohtani was the starting pitcher, throwing six shutout innings, allowing just two hits with 10 strikeouts. He was also the leadoff batter in the game, going 3-for-3 at the plate with three home runs and a walk. This fantastic performance helped the Dodgers sweep the Brewers to head to the World Series.
The first bobblehead in the "Greatest Game" set will be given away at Dodger Stadium on April 10 against the Texas Rangers, and the second will be given to fans on July 8 against the Colorado Rockies, according to the team's website.
Ohtani and the Dodgers will begin their quest for three straight World Series titles when the regular season begins on March 26 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
