Dodgers' Tyler Glasnow Breaks Silence on Injury Amid IL Stint

It's truly tough to see what Tyler Glasnow has dealt with throughout his career. He is the perfect option for the Los Angeles Dodgers and even one of the top starters in MLB.

However, the injuries are prevalent, and unfortunately, have already been an issue.

Pitcher Noah Davis was back in the clubhouse on Monday and has been called up after the injury.

Speaking to reporters about his injury, Glasnow revealed that the situation is frustrating.

He's obsessed with trying to get things going in his direction, but unfortunately, that hasn't been the case.

“I’m just obsessed with trying to figure out what’s going on,” Glasnow said, per The Athletic. “And it’s been like this for a few years, and I’m trying to find a way to stay healthy, and I’ll try to do whatever. I just don’t really have an answer right now, and I think that’s the most frustrating thing. It’s not like a lack of trying.

“It’s just kind of getting exhausting at this point. I know it’s probably exhausting for a lot of people, for me especially, but like, I feel bad for my teammates. I feel bad for people watching. … It’s a very frustrating situation for me. It’s hard.”

After being rewarded with a hefty $115 million extension through 2027, with a team option in 2028, he hasn't exactly lived up to it just yet.

He threw in 22 games for the Dodgers last season before dealing with an injury, posting a 3.49 ERA and striking out 168 hitters in 134.0 innings.

Hopefully, the Dodgers can get him back for the postseason; that's all that matters for this ball club.
