32 seasons. Over 1,200 wins. One unforgettable legacy.

When Danny Hall first stepped onto The Flats in 1994, few could have predicted just how deeply he would shape Georgia Tech baseball. Now, after more than three decades leading the Yellow Jackets, the program is preparing to honor its most successful coach with a weekend-long celebration that promises to be as memorable as his storied career.

Coach Hall’s resume reads like a Hall of Fame script. Over 32 seasons, he has racked up 1,232 wins at Georgia Tech—an all-time school record—and led the Jackets to 24 NCAA Tournament appearances and three College World Series trips. Hall has guided Tech to seven ACC regular-season titles, five conference tournament crowns, and has seen 146 players selected in the MLB Draft. His influence on the program is undeniable, and his numbers speak volumes: a 1,440-785-1 overall record and induction into the ABCA Hall of Fame in 2023.

Georgia Tech will recognize Hall during its final regular-season home series against Louisville, May 9–11 at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium. A pregame ceremony is scheduled for May 11 before the noon first pitch, offering fans and alumni one last chance to honor the man who turned Tech into a national powerhouse. In a nod to the significance of the moment, Senior Day has been moved up to May 4 during the Western Carolina series to give Coach Hall the full spotlight.

While wins and titles define the scoreboard, Hall’s true impact lies in the culture he built. Former players credit him with teaching life lessons that transcend the diamond. His coaching tree stretches across the professional and collegiate baseball landscape. His loyalty, humility, and competitive fire made him a coach players trusted and respected for more than three decades.

For Georgia Tech fans, this isn’t just about baseball. It’s about honoring a man who made The Flats a home for excellence. On May 11, show up early, wear your white and gold, and give Coach Hall the sendoff he’s more than earned.

Because legends deserve nothing less.
