Back to our winning ways on Wednesday’s MLB Parlay, hitting on two of three selections. That raises our regular season record to 64-45 ATS. Time for a rare MLB Sunday Edition comes at you today. Loyal followers know we target games, seeing respected money and, more precisely, reverse line movements. We have three additional selections on tap for you, along with some additional leans based strictly on the initial line movement. Betting lines discussed are the consensus at Vegas Insider and are subject to change.
Leading off today’s MLB parlay will be the New York Yankees’ alternate team total over 4.5 runs. The Bronx Bombers are the second biggest favorite on the MLB betting slate. Despite their recent troubles, the Yankees still average over five runs per game on the season. Today, they are scheduled to face Houston’s Jason Alexander, who sports a 5.97 ERA. New York has also averaged nearly five runs per game in their last nine home games. We like the Bombers’ bats to get it done today. New York Yankees alternate team total over 4.5 runs for play number one!
Next up will be the Arizona Diamondbacks’ alternate team total over 4.5 runs. Picking on the abysmal Colorado Rockies has been a staple play of late. The Rockies’ pitching staff not only allows six runs per game but has yielded 74 runs in their last eight game overall. There is no reason not to keep pounding this trend. Today’s Colorado starter, Tanner Gordon, sports an ERA just under seven and has allowed 13 earned runs over his last 5.2 innings pitched. Arizona has already topped this number in the first two games of the series, and we like the probabilities of a third. Arizona Diamondbacks alternate team total over 4.5 runs for play number two!
The final leg of today’s MLB parlay will be the Toronto Blue Jays over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Not quite a reverse line movement here, but there is respected money backing the Jays this afternoon.. Toronto opened up at +187 underdog, and with just over 50% of the money on them, the line has dropped to +154. Toronto is 6-4 SU in their last 10 games as an underdog and will be motivated to avoid being swept by the Dodgers.
The AL East-leading Blue Jays need to show they belong against the National League. Toronto starter Eric Lauer has been terrific of late, giving up two earned runs or less in his last six starts. He gives Toronto a legitimate chance to match pitches with Los Angeles starter Tyler Glasnow. Toronto Blue Jays, money line for play number three!
Additional Leans: Twins ML, Angels ML, Cardinals ML
Our MLB parlays are to provide our followers with three individual wagers. We will play these picks SU and then sprinkle some on the parlay. Remember, the hit rate on a three-team parlay is about 6-1, and parlays in general are just not a long-term profitable betting strategy. Hitting on the parlay is simply icing on the cake. We try and avoid public plays, which tend to be the betting favorites. Please follow us on X and Facebook as the MLB season continues toward the Fall Classic. Let’s keep our successful MLB season going and get you another three winners. And remember to: Follow or Fade!
