To celebrate their official partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers that began this season, Habit Burger and Grill reimagined its location on 2134 W. Sunset Blvd to a team-inspired space with the intention of bringing fans together on game days.
The refreshed look includes bold blue lighting, Dodger-blue upholstery, new outdoor signage, vintage Dodgers-inspired photography and a neon installation.
Guests are welcomed by a larger-than-life mural from acclaimed Los Angeles street artist Ali Gonzalez on the restaurant exterior wall, a bold visual tribute to the spirit of Dodgers culture and the community that brings it all together.
“I want the community to feel an instant sense of pride and excitement the moment they arrive, like they’ve stepped into a true Dodgers home base while enjoying a great burger,” Gonzalez said.
“I hope it creates a moment where people stop, take it in, snap a photo, and feel connected not just to the team, but to the community around it. Like it’s their spot.”
The launch of Dodgers x Habit Home Base marks an exciting milestone in the brand’s partnership with the storied franchise, including the burger chain’s official arrival at Dodger Stadium in the center field plaza.
“If we’re going to celebrate this partnership, we’re going to do it properly,” said Habit chief marketing officer Jack Hinchliffe.
“Two L.A. greats coming together deserves something spectacular, that’s why we decided to build something enduring: a place fans, with or without game tickets, can show up at and be part of. Fresh food, Dodgers energy, it’s a spot to make a proper day of it.”
Habit was founded in Santa Barbara in 1969, and features an award-winning menu that blends variety with freshly chargrilled burgers, chicken and tuna, to go along with salad offerings and handspun shakes. Habit’s menu also includes tempura green beans and sweet potato fries, among other offerings.
USA Today ranked Habit the No. 1 burger in American in both 2024 and 2025. Habit, which is owned by Yum Brands Inc., is Orange County’s seventh-largest restaurant chain.
Habit replaced Shake Shack, which had opened in the center field plaza during the 2021 season as part of the Dodger Stadium renovations. They also boast locations throughout California, and in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, North Carolina, Florida, Idaho, Washington, New Jersey and Virgina.
