At least Jazz Chisholm Jr. took home something from the 2025 All-Star experience. The New York Yankees second baseman flopped at the Home Run Derby, managing just a measly three dingers on Monday night, but he won the Tuesday afternoon Red Carpet game. Decked out in a custom, embroidered “smoker” jacket, red-bottom Christian Louboutins, and pearls stitched into his slacks, Chisholm was named Best Dressed by MLB Network’s Lauren Shahadi.
And he didn’t disagree.

“They gotta beat me in this,” Chisholm said when asked about other players stepping up the Red-carpet game. “I think I won every time I come.”
This year’s look was personal. Literally.
“We put our own touch on it with the embroideries and pins,” Chisholm said. “Me and my designer, we did it ourselves at the house.”
The jacket? Inspired by the 1890s-1920s “smoking coats” once reserved for men retreating for a post-dinner cigar. The embroidery? A nod to traditional Japanese styles. The pearls? Straight from his island roots, with a little diamond flare.
Red carpet fashion isn’t new for Chisholm.
He’s built for this stage. When asked what he’d be if he wasn’t a baseball player, he didn’t miss a beat. Shahadi said when she asked him that, CHisholm’s response was, “Look at me. A model, obviously.”
Chisholm beat out teammate Aaron Judge, who a cream and navy pinstriped suit, and hometown favorite Ronald Acuna Jr., who wore a sleeveless back suit.
The brash Yankees’ star may have bombed in the Derby. He might not start Tuesday night. But if there was a runway crown to claim, he already had it in the bag.
