Los Angeles Dodgers Remain Uncertain On Outfielder’s Future

The Los Angeles Dodgers keep upgrading their roster to win. They get rid of underperforming players and sign players that help them win the championship. While the franchise is looking for a third starting title, it seems that some players have an uncertain future.

The Boys in Blue parted ways with Michael Conforto. They signed Kyle Tucker and Edwin Diaz and are constantly looking for ways to make their team better. Andy Pages has played a crucial role on the Dodgers squad. He helped them win the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays with an unforgettable catch. However, Pages’ future with the team is pretty bleak.

It turns out that the Dodges have not initiated any extension talks with Pages. The outfielder is controlled through the 2030 season. He will be eligible for free agency after the 2030 season.

The Dodgers are playing it calm for now as they have bigger tasks ahead. They are trying to win the World Series, and right now, Pages is not a point of interest.

Dodgers Could Trade Pages In The Future

Pages’ situation with the Dodgers clearly depends on his performance compared to other stars. One thing is clear with the Dodgers: they get rid of players who fail to perform. Andy Pages must be consistent both offensively and defensively.

Kyle Tucker has the ability to opt out, and it’s unclear if Teoscar Hernandez will be retained. For now, the Dodgers are not bothered by Pages. It’s too early, and they might not ever consider an extension.

Another possibility is that they could trade Pages in the future for a better prospect or star player. This season will be crucial for Pages, and so will every season be if he wants to sport Dodger Blue for the rest of his life.
