On Monday night, the New York Mets will go on the road and begin their four-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Both teams met up for a three-game series in May, with the Mets winning two of the three games.

Heading into Monday's game, New York is riding on a lot of momentum. They are coming off a three-game sweep against the Colorado Rockies and are 8-2 in their last 10 games. Additionally, with a 37-22 record, they are back in the lead in the NL East and are tied with the Chicago Cubs for best record in the NL.

As the Mets look to keep their hot streak going, star shortstop Francisco Lindor sent a seven-word message on social media.

Lindor has been crucial to the Mets' success since the team acquired him in 2021. That is no different this time around as the Puerto Rican native is having another stellar season.

Ahead of the Mets' game against the Dodgers on Monday, Lindor took to Instagram to celebrate the team's recent run with a seven-word message: "Awesome job boys! Let’s keep it going!"

Across the Mets' last 10 games, Lindor is batting .293 at the plate with four home runs and six RBI. As they look to build on their momentum, the Mets will continue to rely heavily on the 31-year-old.

Lindor finished in the top 10 for NL MVP voting in each of the last three seasons and was the runner-up for the award last year. Given his strong start to the season, he and the Mets could be in line for another successful campaign, and they will aim to win another series against the Dodgers, who sent them home in the NLCS less than a year ago.
