During a recent interview, future Hall of Famer Mike Trout had a great message for Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Trout is now entering his 15th MLB season ,and despite not playing much over the last few seasons, he is still one of the most respected players in the MLB due to the incredible numbers he has put up throughout his career.
Trout only played 29 games last season due to an injury at the start of the season but has finally recovered and has been playing very well in spring training in his first few games.
During a recent interview, Trout was asked a few questions about who his favorite players in today's game are to watch, which he responded with Bryce Harper, Aaron Judge and Mookis Betts.
The reporter also asked Trout who his favorite Dominican player is all-time. He stated it is Albert Pujols but then mentioned that in today's game his favorite player to watch in Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
In an interview with MLB reporter Mike Rodriguez, Trout was asked for his favorite Dominican players, and shared a five-word message about the Blue Jays' star first baseman.
This is probably quite the boost of confidence for Guerrero if he ends up hearing this since both players have very similar games since both are offensive powerhouses; so to hear that from a legend like Trout must be a nice boost of confidence.
It will be interesting to see Trout return this season and how he will do after so much time off but most believe he will start right where he left off as last season he had 10 home runs in 29 games before his injury.
