The Milwaukee Brewers needed some late-game heroics to extend their winning streak to six games. A walk-off single by Third Baseman Caleb Durbin helped Milwaukee prevail 6-5 over the Washington Nationals. The Brewers received a great start from Starting Pitcher Brandon Woodruff. He surrendered two earned runs over 4.1 innings of work and punched out 10.
This winning streak began with a victory against the Miami Marlins, a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and wins in the first two games of their series against the Washington Nationals. How long will the winning streak of the Milwaukee Brewers last?

It has been a strong season for the Brewers. They are a game behind the Chicago Cubs for the lead in the National League Central. Milwaukee’s offense has been mediocre. They are 15th in batting average , 23rd in home runs, and seventh in runs scored. It has been a committee-like approach for the Milwaukee Brewers on offense this season. Right Fielder Sal Frelick and Left Fielder Christian Yelich have led the unit.
Milwaukee’s pitching staff has been strong in 2025. They are ninth in ERA, 15th in WHIP, and sixth in opposing batting average. Starting Pitcher Freddy Peralta is second in the league in wins, 14th in ERA, and 10th in opposing batting average. Trevor Megill is fifth in saves. Abner Uribe is leading the league in holds.
The Milwaukee Brewers will look for their seventh straight win tomorrow against the Washington Nationals. Milwaukee will look to head into the All-Star break riding high. If the Brewers can continue playing this well, no team will want to face them this summer.
