It has been a historic regular season for the Milwaukee Brewers. At 61-41, they have the best record in Major League Baseball. The Brewers have not had the best record this late into a season since 1982. That season, the Brewers lost the World Series in 7 games to the St. Louis Cardinals. Will the Milwaukee Brewers keep making history in 2025?

This has been a shockingly good season for the Milwaukee Brewers. While they have made the MLB Playoffs in six of the last seven seasons, no one expected them to have the league’s best record. Milwaukee’s offense has been middling. They are 12th in batting average, 25th in home runs, and seventh in runs scored. Right Fielder Sal Frelick and Left Fielder Christian Yelich have led the offense this year.
Milwaukee’s pitching staff has been a strength. They are fifth in team ERA, fifth in opposing batting average, and eighth in WHIP. Starting Pitcher Freddy Peralta is leading the league in wins and is 15th in ERA. Jacob Misiorowski has also taken the league by storm in his first six career starts. If the team’s offense can catch up to its pitching staff, the team could represent the National League in the World Series.
The Milwaukee Brewers have a day off today before welcoming the Miami Marlins to town for a three-game series on Friday. Milwaukee is in a great position. They will look to keep it going over the summer.
