MLB home run props for Sept. 11: Suzuki's on a tear

We weren't able to cash a home run prop in our first slate of picks this week, so we're looking to bounce back with a profitable hump day. Here are our three favorite HR bets for Wednesday's MLB slate.

Royce Lewis (+350 FanDuel)

Angels at Twins, 7:10 p.m. ET

Lewis has gone hitless in five straight games, going 0-18 in that stretch, but this is a great matchup for him to get back on track. Los Angeles Angels starter Jack Kochanowicz isn't a hard pitcher to prepare for because he throws his sinker a whopping 71.0 percent of the time. Well, Lewis is batting .286 and slugging .714 with a 54.5 percent hard-hit rate against sinkers this season. Let's end this slump with a bang.

Gary Sanchez (+560 FD)

Brewers at Giants, 9:45 p.m. ET

This pick makes no sense if you just look at Sanchez's recent form and the matchup on deck. Sanchez is batting a measly .045 over his last seven games, and San Francisco Giants starter Blake Snell is one of the best pitchers in baseball at limiting barrels and hard contact. But we just can't ignore the history between these two players. In 21 career at-bats against Snell, Sanchez has hit five home runs and a double. The wind at Oracle Park is projected to blow strongly out to center field, which only helps our cause here.

Seiya Suzuki (+500 DraftKings)

Cubs at Dodgers, 10:10 p.m. ET

We can't quit betting on Suzuki to hit a home run. The Chicago Cubs outfielder has a 66.7 percent hard-hit rate and a 47.6 percent fly-ball rate against righties over the last two weeks, and this is as good of a matchup as he could ask for. Los Angeles Dodgers starter Bobby Miller has given up a whopping 10 home runs in his last five starts, and he now ranks in the second percentile in barrel rate (12.2 percent) and hard-hit rate (48.3 percent). The wind is also projected to blow straight out to center field at Dodger Stadium during the game.
