MLB Insider Locks In Prediction for 2025 World Series Winner

Just months ago, the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series in five games over the New York Yankees. It was a World Series full of superstars, including Aaron Judge, Gerrit Cole and Juan Soto for the Yankees, with Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts for the Dodgers.

In 2025, the Dodgers should once again be viewed as a World Series contender, especially after adding stars such as Roki Sasaki and Blake Snell.

With Opening Day set for Thursday (although the two-game Tokyo Series has already taken place), it is time for predictions to be revealed.

Ahead of the season, MLB insider Mark Feinsand revealed his predictions in full force. And, he has both the Dodgers and Yankees missing out on the World Series.

Feinsand picked the Philadelphia Phillies to beat the Baltimore Orioles in the 2025 World Series.

He has the Phillies beating the Dodgers in the NLCS and the Orioles beating the AL East foe Boston Red Sox in the AL East in a bit of a surprising prediction.

Last postseason, the Phillies had the No. 2 seed in the National League, but they fell to the New York Mets in four games in the NLDS.

The Orioles, meanwhile, had the No. 4 seed in the AL but fell to the Kansas City Royals in the Wild Card round. Still, Feinsand is rolling with two different teams in the World Series this time, while both the Dodgers and Yankees miss out.

It would be something to see the Phillies and Orioles battle it out in the World Series, and only time will tell if that ends up being the case.
