New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge has continued to operate as the league’s most dangerous hitter. Now in his 11th big-league season, the 34-year-old right-handed slugger is well on his way toward earning another All-Star selection.

Through his first two months, Judge has posted a .266 batting average, .398 on-base percentage, .988 OPS, 16 home runs and 30 RBIs. The three-time American League MVP is looking to win his fourth this year.

His efforts have helped New York jump out to a 29-19 record. However, the Yankees have struggled recently, losing seven of their last 10 games and now trailing the Tampa Bay Rays for the AL East lead. Still, it is only May, and there is plenty of time for Judge to help them regain ground.

Ahead of Tuesday’s slate of games, MLB announced the current leaders in the polls for the All-MLB First Team. The All-MLB teams were introduced in 2019, and Judge has been selected nearly every year since.

On Tuesday, the league revealed that Judge is once again leading the polls in right field. He has less competition this year than usual with his former teammate Juan Soto shifting from right field to left, but the recognition is still fully deserved.

“These guys have been early standouts this season Here’s a look at the All-MLB First Team Poll!” the league wrote on X.

Judge was not the only Yankees player featured in the announcement. Cam Schlittler ranked third among starting pitchers, and Ben Rice led the All-MLB Second Team poll at first base.

Judge and the Yankees will look to win their second in a row against the division rival Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night.
