Jackson, 36, had a 2.12 earned-run average last season for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 29 2/3 innings, Jackson allowed just 18 hits and eight runs — seven earned — while striking out 27. He further bolsters a Twins bullpen that's projected by FanGraphs to be the best in baseball.
Jackson played in Japan for a while, but since he's returned in 2021, he has a 2.73 ERA. Over his five-year Major League Baseball career, he's recorded 107 strikeouts and holds a 3.50 ERA.
