Perhaps lost in the news of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement on Tuesday, MLB released the full 2026 regular-season schedule for all 30 teams.

And with Tuesday being National Dog Day, the St. Louis Cardinals enlisted the help of four local adoptable puppies to help reveal some of their key match-ups at Busch Stadium next season.

After the 2026 season begins with the New York Yankees visiting the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, March 25, the Cardinals will open their season a day later when they host the Tampa Bay Rays for a three-game set.

Other notable teams coming to Busch Stadium next season include the Boston Red Sox (April 10-12), Los Angeles Dodgers (May 1-3), Kansas City Royals (May 15-17), Atlanta Braves (July 10-12), Philadelphia Phillies (August 10-12), and the Washington Nationals (September 18-20).

As far as their NL Central rivals go, St. Louis will host the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs for a total of 14 games. The Brewers will visit Busch Stadium for a three games on May 4-6 and a four-game set July 6-9. The Cardinals will host the Cubs on May 29-31 and July 27-30.

The Cardinals full 2026 regular season schedule can be found here.

Following a walk-off victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday, the Cardinals (65-67) currently sit fourth in the NL Central, 17 games back of the division leading Brewers and five and a half games back of the New York Mets for the final wild card spot. Despite being in contention for most of the year, the team's attendance numbers have dropped significantly this season.

Per St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Derrick Goold, Monday's game drew 17,675 fans, the smallest in Busch Stadium III's history and the first time they've sold fewer than 20,000 tickets.
