The 'Catchers to lead MLB in caught stealing %' quiz

On this day way back in 1907, a young player by the name of Branch Rickey had a very bad day for the New York Highlanders in a game against the lowly Washington Senators.

Long before the days when he would become one of the most important baseball executives in the history of the game (and before the Highlanders would go by a much more recognizable name), Rickey was a part-time backup catcher who was thrust into action despite, by his own account, having a sore arm.

"My arm was numb, and I was helpless to do anything," Rickey would later say.

The Senators picked up on that fairly quickly, as they went on to steal 13 bases in that game off of Rickey, a dubious record which still stands to this day. Here his how the Washington Post described the events 111 years ago

The Washington's went on a baserunning spree – waxed merry over a jag of pilfered bases. Rickey threw so poorly to bases that all a man had to do to put through a steal was to start. The Washington's soon discovered that as a thrower Rickey was many chips shy, and they paused in their travels merely long enough to get breath. Rickey did throw out one man cleanly at third base only to suffer from a bad decision by Hurst, but that feat cast no effulgence on his banner, since the Washingtons stole thirteen bases.

Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. In honor of Rickey's record-setting day, we want to see how well you know the best modern-day defensive backstops, the ones who had all sorts of effulgence cast upon their respective banners. So, with that in mind, how many of the catchers who have thrown out the highest percentage of runners in a season since 1993 can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!

Can you name every catcher to lead MLB in caught stealing % since 1993?
