Toronto’s winning streak began with a victory in the final game of their series against the Boston Red Sox. They then swept a four-game set from the New York Yankees and a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels. How many consecutive games will the Toronto Blue Jays be able to win?

Toronto’s success, coupled with the New York Yankees’ woes, has allowed the Blue Jays to open up a three-game lead in the American League East. Toronto’s offense has been solid in 2025. They are fourth in the league in batting average, 17th in home runs, and 12th in runs scored. Catcher Alejandro Kirk is ninth in the league in batting average. It has been a committee-like approach for the Toronto Blue Jays on offense this season.

The Blue Jays’ pitching staff has been a weakness for the ballclub. They are 22nd in ERA, 18th in WHIP, and 14th in opposing batting average. Closer Jeff Hoffman is fourth in the league in saves.
