it was looking like Andrew Abbott was going to have the performance of his life on Tuesday night. Then, he walked the first batter he faced in the ninth and fell behind 3-0 on the second batter.

However, he found himself and induced a huge ground ball double play. Jose Ramirez singled up the middle before he got Carlos Santana to chase a high fastball and fly out on the left field warning track to end the game.

It was Abbott's first career complete game and just the fifth complete game in the National League this season.

The Reds will go for the series sweep of the Guardians on Wednesday afternoon.
