As things stand, the Toronto Blue Jays have yet to name a starting pitcher for Game 2. Despite adding plenty of depth to their roster, their rotation is stretched to the breaking point. Dylan Cease joined Max Scherzer, Shane Bieber, Jose Berrios, and Cody Ponce on the IL last week.
For the Baltimore Orioles, Trevor Rogers will make his 10th appearance of the season. The 28-year-old is struggling badly on the mound after his excellent 2025 campaign. He currently has a 2-6 record with a 6.96 ERA from 42.2 innings and a 1.617 WHIP.
This game seems to have all the makings of a high-scoring encounter. The Orioles lineup has looked good lately. Nevertheless, the Blue Jays’ offense can match them pound for pound and carries just a little extra momentum at the moment.
