The Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles played the first game of their series yesterday, and it was the Orioles who walked away with the win. Unfortunately, the Astros will have to wait for another day to get their revenge, as the second game has been postponed.

“Tonight’s scheduled game between the Orioles and Houston Astros has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a traditional (single-admission) doubleheader tomorrow, Thursday, April 30. Game one will begin at 12:35 p.m. ET, followed by game two approximately 30 minutes after the first game concludes,” the Orioles wrote.

That means that fans will almost be getting a full day of baseball between the two teams. Those will be the final two games of the series before they head off and face their next opponent.

It’s been a rocky start for both teams this season, and they’re looking to stay on track. The Orioles are currently 14-15 and in third place in the AL East, while the Astros are 11-19 and are in last place in the AL West.

For the Astros, they’ve been dealing with key injuries to some of their key players, which has affected their depth. Jeremy Pena is one of those players, as he’s been dealing with a right hamstring injury, but he recently took live at-bats during batting practice, which is a big step in his rehabilitation process.

It’s uncertain when he’ll get back on the field, but it looks like he’s making the right progress to return soon.
