Yankees Call Up AAA Prospect As Aaron Judge’s Replacement

It’s an awful time in the Bronx as the New York Yankees lose Aaron Judge to the injured list. The Yankees captain has been in a slump for a long time, but recent reports suggest that he’s struggling with a first-rib stress fracture.

MLB insider Jon Heyman mentioned that Judge is not listed day-to-day. Instead, the slugger is downgraded from month to month. It’s a huge downgrade for the Yankees as well, as their home run king is now sidelined.

It’s still unclear when Aaron Judge will return to the Yankees lineup. The good news is that they have enough players to fill in. While they might not be able to keep up with the Judge’s pace, the Yankees have plenty of players ready to step in.

Yankees Recall Spencer Jones To Fill In For Aaron Judge

The Yanks called up Spencer Jones previously, but he was quickly demoted after he failed to perform well. Sadly, Jones was not given enough time to perform well. Giancarlo Stanton is out, and so is Jasson Dominguez. That said, the Yanks see Jones as the best possible replacement for Aaron Judge.

Jones will have a lot of pressure on him, especially since he’s stepping up for one of the best hitters in the league. The good news is that players like Cody Bellinger and Ben Rice have the potential to hold the lead.

The Yankees need Aaron Judge. The captain holds a batting average of .248 and has crushed 17 home runs with 38 RBIs. Judge was on pace to reach another 50-home run season.

Yankees fans are unhappy with the current situation. Hopefully, Aaron Judge will get a return timeline soon. Manager Aaron Boone was not too pleased with the whole situation . Stanton and Dominguez are predicted to return soon. Max Fried remains on the injured list, but he’s already showing progress on a possible return.
