Baltimore Orioles reliever Kade Strowd made his Major League Baseball debut Sunday afternoon. The former West Virginia University starting pitcher took the mound in the ninth with the Orioles trailing by four runs.
After four starts, the Orioles have ended Kyle Gibson’s time with the team. Gibson was signed to a one-year $5.25 million contract on March 21st as spring training was nearing its end.
Former West Virginia University right-handed pitcher Kade Strowd was by the Baltimore Orioles, the club announced on Monday. Strowd started the year in Triple-A Norfolk.
