Halos have five players taken in Rule 5 Draft

Five players from the Angels' organization were selected in Thursday's Rule 5 Draft. Lefty Robert Fish, who was selected by the Braves, was the only player taken in the Major League phase. Fish posted a 3.26 ERA in 24 appearances at Double-A in 2011.

Royals send Fish back to Angels

The Rule 5 population in the Royals' clubhouse was cut in half Sunday when left-hander Robert Fish was returned to the Los Angeles Angels.

Fish claimed off waivers from Yankees

Left-handed pitcher Robert Fish was claimed by the Royals off outright waivers from the New York Yankees on Sunday. Fish, 23, goes on the Royals' 40-man roster and to make room, right-handed pitcher Henry Barrera was placed on the 60-day disabled list with a right elbow sprain.
