Image: AEW One-time pro wrestler, rapper and actor Action Bronson was hoping for another match or more in AEW, but said that the promotion never called him back. Bronson appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show Wednesday and was asked if he wanted another match. Bronson was immediately dismissive, saying, “You know what they do. They don’t call you back. I never got called back. There was an angle there. I’m ready right now. I’m ready for whoever.” In his lone match back in September 2022 as part of Rampage Grand Slam, he teamed with Hook against Matt Menard and Angelo Parker. During the interview, he intimated he wanted to do more in the match but that his opponents didn’t want to take some of his offense like a top rope splash or a facebuster.
