Conor McGregor's heart and passion for combat sports can never be understated, and he was able to carry that same enthusiasm to the soccer pitch during a recent match.

Soccer is by far the world's most popular sport, allowing people of any age range or skill to participate—unlike many other sports. While you'll likely never catch him throwing a 20-yard dart to a receiver on the football field or hitting a 3-pointer on the basketball court, the simplicity of soccer allows 'The Notorious' to get involved.

That was the case when Conor McGregor turned out for Black Forge FC in Dublin, an amateur team named after his popular restaurant and bar The Black Forge Inn.

The Irishman enjoyed his time on the field, creating chaos and riling up the opposition—as he often does both inside and outside of the octagon.

McGregor was involved in several highlights of the game, battering and bruising the opposing players. Some viral moments from his time on the pitch came when he could have potentially caused serious injury while diving into a tackle before later wrestling an opponent to the ground which the referee rightly deemed to be foul play.

Putting in a performance to remember—for reasons other than his soccer ability—Conor McGregor managed to come away victorious.

On their travels away to Coolock Village FC, Black Forge FC were forced to put on a gritty display. McGregor's team managed to walk away with a 1-0 win, bringing a successful end to the UFC star's team debut.

Savoring his team's win, the 36-year-old shared a post with the squad on social media. Those who participated in the match alongside several other faces are pictured in the Instagram post captioned: 'ALL WE DO IS WIN!'
