Coach John Kavanagh recently revealed his star pupil mapped out the fight-ending sequence a year before the famous 13-second UFC title bout.
The SBG founder and head trainer shared a picture of his reaction to McGregor vs. Aldo and explained why he celebrated before everyone else around him.
“I reacted half a second before anyone in the picture, not because my reactions are quicker than anyone else, probably the contrary,” Kavanagh captioned his latest Instagram post.
“I reacted first because I anticipated the ending as soon as the opponent lunged forward with a backhand exposing chin.
“The only reason I anticipated this ending was because Conor showed me this is how it would finish EXACTLY like this ONE full year before the fight.
“It was almost like slow motion, and I thought, ‘Holy s—, he was dead right.”
