And now, just a few days later, McGregor says the contract is signed and sealed.

Speaking to Sean Hannity, McGregor said: “It’s a done deal, signed, delivered.“

“It ain’t a negotiation. It’s a done deal, signed, delivered. McGregor will compete in the White House for America’s 250th birthday.”

McGregor talks through his preparation for White House return

Earlier in the day, Conor McGregor took part in a BKFC 82 media session, where he discussed how he’s preparing for his long-awaited return to the sport.

Now 37, McGregor has been out of competition for over four years and spoke about what it takes to get back into fighting shape. He outlined the timeline he’s working with and how he plans to be ready.

“Eight months and change out to the White House event,” McGregor told Bloody Elbow and other reporters on Wednesday.

“It’s a six-month operation… You know, I consider it a six-month operation to get ready for this belt. And that’s my focus right now.”

He added: “I’m just eager to, you know, climb the steps into being ready for my return. There’s a lot at stake, and I’m very excited at the opportunity.”
