UFC 319 is headlined by one of the most anticipated fights of the year. Middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis puts his title on the line against unbeaten Khamzat Chimaev at the United Center in Chicago.

It's a match that has most fans and pundits excited, including former two-division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre. "Rush" gave his thoughts on Saturday's marquee fight on the Tristar Gym YouTube channel

"I am excited indeed. It's a clash of styles, and it's very interesting," St-Pierre said. "I think if it's an early stoppage, it has more chance to favor Chimaev because he's a very strong starter. But Dricus Du Plessis is a very good finisher. He's very good at the end in the deep waters and he's very athletic. So, if it goes later in a decision it might got the other way. It could go both sides."

"Dricus Du Plessis, I think he's very underrated. He's better than what people give him credit for. It can go both sides," St-Pierre continued. "Chimaev can go too."

The UFC legend can see Chimaev winning early with his relentless pace, takedowns and submissions. He can also see Du Plessis wearing the Chechen down and winning in the later rounds.

"The most interesting fights are when you don't know what's going to happen," St-Pierre said. "I don't underestimate Dricus' wrestling. I think he's very strong. I think he did judo before. He's got a strong base.

"And Chimaev, I don't underestimate his striking either because Chimaev has very good striking," St-Pierre continued. "They both can win in very unexpected ways. People gave a tendency to go, 'Oh, this guy is a grapple. This guy is a striker. That's not what this fight is. This fight is two athletes, very well-rounded, that's going to fight each other. Of course, they have specialty especially Chimaev's case. He's very good in wrestling and with submissions as well, but they both can knock each other out."
