Even though they are set to clash on Saturday, May 16, Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey have been cordial with each other. Two of the most iconic female mixed martial artists will give fans a dream match, but Carano wants something else afterward.

Ahead of their fight on Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions Netflix card, Carano shared her plans for after the bout. Speaking with SportsCenter, the former MMA star turned actress said she would like to become friends with Rousey.

“We’re going to do this fight, and it’s going to be tough on both of us, but afterwards I can’t wait to be her friend,” Carano said. “I feel like we have similar experiences, and few people have done what we’ve done…Yes someone put us in a movie together because we would rock it.”

It seems that Rousey is willing to become friends with Carano, too. The former UFC superstar revealed that she wanted to make Gina Carano get back in shape, which is why she came up with this fight.

“I was nine months pregnant, and I saw a video of Gina Carano giving an interview, and she didn’t look good,” Rousey said. “She gained an unhealthy amount of weight. My first thought was, ‘Oh my god. What can I do? What can I do to help?’ The reason I had that thought was she’s the one woman not only in MMA who also doesn’t owe me a damn thing, but that I owe immensely. I’m always trying to look at what I could do for her.”

Both actresses appeared in the Fast & Furious franchise, but they didn’t share the screen.
