Kayla Harrison is loving life

Kayla Harrison sat down to have a conversation with Bloody Elbow’s Mike Owens on Wednesday.

During their chat, the 35-year-old gleefully looked ahead to her fight with Amanda Nunes.

“I’m ready to rock,” Harrison said.

“I’m very excited, and I’m just very grateful.

“I’m grateful for her willingness to come back and put her legacy on the line.

“Yeah, dude, all my dreams are coming true.

“It’s kind of weird to be in this era of my life. It’s just pretty great.”

Will Kayla Harrison become the WMMA GOAT?

Kayla Harrison’s GOAT ambition

Kayla Harrison believes she’ll be the GOAT if she beats Amanda Nunes and another UFC champion.

The 135lb queen plans to add flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko to her resume in 2026.

“When I beat Amanda (and Shevchenko), that will make me the greatest of all time for a finite period of time,” Harrison told Bloody Elbow.

“And then the next Amanda, the next Valentina, the next Kayla will come and stand on my shoulders.

“There are so many women whose shoulders I am standing on right now.

“I think Joanna Jedrzejczyk is one of the greatest of all time, it’s subjective, and my goal, yes, is to hit that mark.

Maybe it’s a day, maybe it’s a week, who knows, I just wanna see how far I can go, just for fun.”
