Merab Dvalishvili took down a cameraman during the UFC 333 open workouts Tuesday.
The bantamweight co-headliner, who owns the UFC record with 119 career takedowns, dropped a camera operator who stepped onto the mats to film the session, per MMA Mania. Video of the incident shows Dvalishvili executing a quick shot on the unsuspecting crew member, who was carrying broadcast equipment at the time.
Dvalishvili meets champion Petr Yan in their third meeting Saturday night. The Georgian grappler has built his reputation on relentless pressure and chain wrestling, racking up more mat returns than any fighter in company history.
The open workout stunt came two days before the pair square off in the pay-per-view co-main event. No word yet on whether the camera survived the takedown.
