Nate Diaz Involved In A Wild Brawl
CLIFFORD OTO/THE STOCKTON RECORD / USA TODAY NETWORK

Nate Diaz was reportedly involved in a brawl while he was filming a Russian reality show in Thailand.

Reports indicate that Diaz was with Jon Jones and Jake Shields as part of the show. During the course of that process, someone accosted Diaz by trying to get a hold of him. Nate allegedly slapped him, as an altercation broke out. It is then alleged that someone from Diaz’s team punched the person. Things did not stop, as the man reportedly returned back, as Shields tackled him. Diaz and his team then returned to Canada. While there were attempts to get him back, things didn’t work out. Shields recalled the matter, as the video clip shows the extent of the brawl.

Shields Reacts

“Right when I started to go off on him, I got just blitzed from the side. Not where the fighters were, a couple of guys just started blitzing me, which to me seemed like they were crew working there, not fighters because the fighters were in the chairs. To me it was very clear that it was the staff and the workers. That was one of those moments where’s like I better diffuse the situation.

“Why are we going to go back and film a show — it’s one thing to be fighting the fighters, that’s why I went out there with Nate, I thought it was a possibility some of these fighters will try to test him — but when you have potentially the crew hitting you, too it’s like no, f*ck that,” Shields said

The incident has raised a strong reaction based on Diaz’s history. Nate Diaz, Nick Diaz, and Shields were part of a 2010 Strikeforce: Nashville brawl. Meanwhile, Nate was also part of a brawl backstage as part of the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva card. It is unclear if the latest brawl incident will impact Nate’s ability on his Russian reality show, but it has gotten fans talking.
