The first major UFC event of 2026 is taking shape following Dana White’s announcement.
While huge names like Jon Jones are targeting the UFC’s event at the White House next June, there are still plenty of fights that need to happen before this one-of-a-kind card takes place.
The start of a new year is always going to be an exciting time for fans, but 2026 will take this up a notch.
In August, White announced the UFC’s new broadcast deal with Paramount+, which will remove the PPV structure when it kicks off in January.
We now know the first two title fights that Paramount+ subscribers in the US will get to watch for no additional charge, and things are getting started with a bang.
After Ilia Topuria confirmed that he wouldn’t be returning early in 2026, Dana White announced what’s next for the lightweight division.
Despite the absence of ‘El Matador’, a lightweight belt will still be on the line due to Paddy Pimblett facing Justin Gaethje for the interim title in the main event of UFC 324 at the T-Mobile Arena on January 24.
The co-main event is another blockbuster bout, with UFC bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison welcoming Amanda Nunes back to the Octagon.
Harrison and Nunes previously trained together at American Top Team before they came face-to-face inside the Octagon at UFC 316 in June.
With many considering the returning ‘Lioness’ to be the greatest female fighter of all time, Harrison recently spoke to Bloody Elbow about how she can claim this honor for herself.
The three title fights that will kick off the UFC’s Paramount+ era weren’t the only fights that Dana White made official on November 27.
