Silva Makes Weight For Noche UFC Redemption Bout

Jean Silva made championship weight Friday ahead of his Noche UFC main event against Jose Miguel Delgado on Saturday in Glendale.

Silva, who fights out of Fighting Nerds, weighed 145 pounds even for the featherweight non-title bout, while Delgado used the one-pound allowance and came in at 145.5, MMA Fighting reported. All 26 fighters on the card made weight without issue.

The Brazilian is chasing redemption after Diego Lopes stopped him in last year's Noche UFC headliner. Silva rebounded with a decision over Arnold Allen in January and now looks to reenter the 145-pound title mix against Delgado, who joined the UFC through Contender Series in 2024 and has gone 4-1 in the cage since.

Moreno Returns In Co-Main Event

Former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno faces Joseph Morales in the co-main event, with both fighters weighing 125.5 pounds. Moreno is riding a two-fight skid and needs a win to halt the slide. Morales won The Ultimate Fighter 33 and steps up as a live underdog.

One late change saw the Tim Elliott vs. Edgar Chairez bout move from flyweight to a 130-pound catchweight, per MMA Mania. Both men made the new mark. The card also features Alexa Grasso vs. Manon Fiorot at flyweight and Curtis Blaydes vs. Waldo Cortes-Acosta in a heavyweight scrap.

Ceremonial weigh-ins stream Friday at 7 p.m. ET. The main card airs on Paramount+ on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET.
