UFC 324 Purse and Payouts: How Much Did Justin Gaethje Earn For Beating Paddy Pimblett?

The Paramount era has started, and fans are definitely loving it. And UFC 324 was full of knockouts and was a breathtaking event. No one expected Paddy Pimblett vs. Justin Gaethje to be this violent as fans saw five rounds of war. For this war-like fight, they have gotten a huge payday as well.

According to SportySalaries, ‘The Baddy’ earned $400k for the fight against Michael Chandler, and his overall pay exceeded $500k based on sponsorship money. Additionally, Gaethje’s exact payday is not revealed yet, but he’s one of the old fighters, and he should be getting approximately $800k. However, the purse might get higher as the Paramount deal kicks off.

Meanwhile, ‘The Highlight’ claimed the interim lightweight belt for the second time. The 37-year-old American fighter showed how much experience he carries. Now the new interim lightweight champion will fight for the lightweight belt against Ilia Topuria. Fans are now pumped to see how he will fight against Topuria.

Now the question remains: when can Ilia Topuria return to fight Gaethje? As Topuria is out of action due to personal issues, ‘El Matador’ once said he will return in April or June. Additionally, talking with Joe Rogan during the post-fight press conference, he said he will see both of them at the White House card.

The lightweight champion is eager to come back to fight. As he is out, he always stays active on social media, calling out fighters. Meanwhile, he also wanted to face the English fighter, but now that cannot happen as he has lost. Gaethje will now fight for the belt, and it might be in June.
