UFC 333 Confirmed With Volkanovski, Yan Title Fights

UFC 333 has been confirmed for October 24 in Abu Dhabi with two championship fights topping the card.

Alexander Volkanovski will defend his featherweight title against undefeated contender Movsar Evloev in the main event, while Petr Yan puts his bantamweight belt on the line against Merab Dvalishvili in the co-main, per an announcement during Saturday's UFC 330 broadcast. The five-fight main card also features Lone'er Kavanagh against Ramazan Temirov, Alexander Volkov meeting Rizvan Kuniev, and Arnold Allen squaring off with Aaron Pico. The promotion confirmed several preliminary bouts as well, including Dominick Reyes versus Azamat Murzakanov, Abus Magomedov against Cam Rowston, Nikita Krylov facing Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev, and Grant Dawson taking on Nurullo Aliev.

The Abu Dhabi shows typically deliver electric matchups and clean finishes. Volkanovski has not fought since reclaiming his title earlier this year, while Evloev brings a perfect professional record into his first championship opportunity. Yan captured the vacant bantamweight strap in his last outing and now faces a surging Dvalishvili, who has won his last eight straight.

Weigh-ins are scheduled for October 23.
